An 8-mile walk in the Walking Festival with local history and true smuggling tales. Starting from Ventnor Park's main entrance at 10 am, this is a circular walk to explore the Undercliff's dramatic scenery, follow paths to holy wells, and marvel at the Cripple Path.

We return through Paradise along a scenic railway track. Allow 5 hours, bring a drink, a packed lunch and a waterproof jacket, and wear stout walking boots or shoes.

This walk has some stiles and steps, is at a moderate pace and of moderate difficulty. No dogs for safety reasons.
