Freshwater Library film night this month is showing the recently released film BROOKLYN. Written by Nick Hornby and directed by Jihn Crowley it is based on Colm Toibin's bestselling novel.

Brooklyn tells the story of a 1951 young woman's immigration to New York. It received critical acclaim at the 2015 Sundance Film festival and was nominated for three Academy Awards.
