IW Music Centre is opening its doors to all to showcase and inspire young musicianship - there will be something to interest everyone!

Open rehearsals and presentations will be held by the hundreds of young people aged 8-18 who play every Saturday during term time in bands, orchestras string ensembles, recorder groups,keyboards and choirs, all standards beginner to advanced.

There will be trade stalls from suppliers from the Island and mainland offering musical instruments, accessories and gifts.

There will be refreshments, cakes, tuck shop, lucky dip, raffle and more.

You can find out about playing a musical instrument in school, with IW Music Service staff on hand to advise and assist.

If you already play, bring your instrument and join in. Demonstrations and open rehearsals in the Theatre will include Choir at 9.00, Youth Orchestra 10.00, Youth Wind Band 11.15, Stage Band 12.30. Other groups will be on show around the College 10.00 - 12.30.
