In advance of Cowes Police Station moving to shared premises with the Fire and Rescue Service on Victoria Road, local residents are invited to meet the policing team at Cowes library this Thursday [18 November] at 6pm.

This week, residents are invited to meet the local Neighbourhood Policing Team and members of the Police and Crime Commissioner’s Estate Change Programme Team, to answer any questions they may have about this move. The local policing team will be sharing a building with the Cowes retained fire crew.

Following the move on Thursday 24 November 2016, the station will not be open to the public, and the nearest front office for enquiries will be Newport Police Station, High Street, Newport PO30 1SZ.

This move is the first time on the Island that the Constabulary and the Fire and Rescue Service have collaborated with a joint base.
