The stunning effects of this simple technique belie its easy process. Relief Collograph technique is a simple, experimental printmaking method which produces bold and colouful graphic images, achieved by using collaged, textured, cut and torn shapes and the Etching Press. This is a very accessible form of printmaking as it’s based on design rather than an ability to draw. Consequently it is suitable for both beginners and more experienced printmakers.

Participants will need to bring hard and soft pencils, ball point pen, scissors and or craft knife, apron, latex or washing up style rubber gloves, inspirational images to work from such as animal or landscape photos, magazines, postcards, art, design or nature books, or sketchbooks.
