Built from comedian’s spines, poet’s flesh, the fashion sense of rock gods and the wigs of magicians, Cowes Speak is a chaotic comedy variety show started by host Adam Gaterell in Cowes on the Isle of Wight in 2013.

The show’s regular home at the Anchor in Cowes is where chaos is created before transported to festivals and venues that deserve the fun, chaos and prizes… Oh yes, there are prizes! The show has brought people from Phil Lucas to Grant Sharkey and beyond into the mix with regular support from various local performers including music from 'The Ventnor Darlings', members of spoken-word group 'Reading between the Lines collective', stand up 'Bobbin Dixon', Magician 'Huxley', poet 'Jeni Law' and guest host 'Benny Curtis'.
