In recent years, government policies, including those from the Ministry of Defence (MOD), have placed an increasing emphasis on sustainable development. This presentation will explore how these requirements are influencing the design of modern warships to enable worldwide access and avoid operational restrictions, increase capability such as endurance, reduce through life support issues such as equipment supply, and provide resilience from a changing climate.
