Part recital, part conversation, part therapy. After fifteen years of hard slog, horn player Tom Redmond is taking a year off to fall in love again….with playing the horn!
This concert brings together the multiple facets of his diverse career in one afternoon. Alongside his orchestral commitments, Tom has led workshops in prisons, schools and boardrooms, he’s programmed and introduced concerts to hundreds of thousands of children, and in recent years has worked as broadcaster for BBC Radio 3, presenting Live in Concert from around the UK.
This fully interactive session of storytelling, music and entertainment will also feature Tom’s long term duo partner, pianist Duncan Glenday. Together they present a selection of works from which the audience, through a live vote, will be able to choose what they’d like to hear.
*Suitable for all ages from about seven upwards, we are happy to offer free entry for one young person under the age of 16 with any one paying adult.
Tickets £9
