Bring your partner and some dancing shoes (leather soles are ideal) to the ballroom floor of the Winter Gardens and let fabulous dancing duo Hartley and Hitch show you how to recreate the magic of the classic Hollywood movies of Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers. Includes a demonstration and audience participation*.

The exciting dance partnership of Hartley and Hitch (Derek Hartley and Claire Hitchman) perform a Tap and Ballroom dance set, using the sort of MGM Musical soundtracks we all know so well, but which are seldom performed to. They specialise in Astaire / Rogers / Garland themed performances of typically fast paced Derek Hartley choreography to great music. Then it’s over to you to try your moves with expert guidance and tips from the professionals!

• For best enjoyment on the day, it is advised that people taking part come as (dance) couples and have at least a little dance experience, as this session is too short to start completely from scratch.
