Come along to IW Community Club in Cowes for some or all of these fun and relaxed dance workshops with teachers Gary and Stacey, who live and teach on the mainland.

Learn how to get around the dance floor with simple social dances from the 1940s and 1950s. Arrive from 10.00am

10:30am-12:00pm: Absolute beginners Jive and Swing. All the basics to get you started and dancing. Suitable for Rock 'n Roll, Swing, Boogie Woogie etc.

2:00pm to 4:00pm: Lindy Charleston variations. A workshop in moves around the side by side and Tandem Charleston steps. Not suitable for beginners.

4:30pm to 6:00pm: Social Foxtrot.... A simple 'social shuffle' to get round the floor and looking good when the music slows down. Suitable for everyone.

£8 per workshop when booked and paid for in advance or £11 for two workshops. On the door £11 for one workshop, £15 for two. The Community Club has plenty of parking, a bar, and offers hot and cold food.
