Come with or without fossils and join us at Dinosaur Isle. Experts will be on hand to identify finds, exhibitions by local collectors and rare fossils recently acquired by the museum will be on display. Speak to collectors and experts, attend talks and have a delicious meal.
This year’s talks concern two new Isle of Wight crocodiles
Michaela Johnson (University of Southampton) on a new crocodile whose skull was discovered in a classroom at the Sandown Bay Academy. & Dr Steve Sweetman (The University of Portsmouth) on Koumpiodontosuchus aprosdokita—the unexpected button toothed Crocodile from the IOW. A new crocodile skull amazingly found in two pieces by two collectors several months apart.
