Samaritans winter warmer 2012

Doors open 7pm. Music 8-11.

Three amazing Isle of Wight bands join DJ Tom Headfunk Blackwell for a fun-fuelled night of superb sounds and shameless partying in support of national charity, the Samaritans.

Kicking off with alternative electro-rock band, Golden Strands, combining the soaring vocals of lead singer, Rosie Curling, with an impressive range of top tunes and a captivating sound.

Continuing with the amazing Signals, a female fronted indie-rock four-piece performing an eclectic mix of intricate melodies and ambient guitarscapes held together with energetic rhythm sections - all entwined with subtle and soaring three-part harmony.

Headlining, the incredible Goodbye Stereo - infectious indie-pop delivered with energy and charisma and at the very forefront of the Isle of Wight's music scene, they were tipped by none other than Radio 1's Rob Da Bank as the ones to watch at Bestival. With infectious lyrics, hooks in all the right places and vocally driven songs, you can expect big things from this indie-pop quintet.

And as if that wasn’t enough, top tune spinner DJ Tom Headfunk will be curating a mix of sounds to keep all the energy up at this special, one-off social and pre-Christmas gathering.

Tickets are £6 and available from www.quayarts.org
