Two sets of parents get together to discuss a fight in which both sets of children were involved, one being seriously injured. What starts out as a middle-class, politely cool confrontation turns into a battlefield more aggressive than any playground spat.

The situation is agonising as the tension builds but farcical developments dissipate the suspense a good deal.

This is a satire on contemporary bourgeois sensibilities played out in a claustrophobic real time atmosphere which draws the audience into the controversy.
