Acoustic Originals is back on Monday 26 November offering you an evening of great original music in the welcoming warmth of the Quay Arts Café Bar - and what a line-up we have in store! Five fantastic songwriters from the Island (and beyond!) performing their original creations for your listening ears.

Leonie May – You might know Leonie as the incredible saxophonist from local reggae sensation, The Ohmz, but her growing catalogue of original compositions is really impressive. “Her songs are gentle and inspired by her hero, Paul Simon (great choice too). With lyrics way beyond her young age and a sound that made us drift away in delight.” Vectis Radar

Ursa Minor – As well as being an exceptionally great drummer, Ursa Minor’s Kit Jolliffe is a talented songwriter and maker of music and it’s a real pleasure to invite him to perform his songs to the appreciative Acoustic Originals crowd.

Wild Oats – This fantastic folk-pop duo will be familiar to Island music lovers and with good reason; their songs are infectiously well-written and performed with great musicianship and heart-breaking vocal harmonies. Joined tonight by drums and double bass – not to be missed!

Annie Winter – Seductive songstress hailing from Lymington, Annie has been busy recording with the Isle of Wight’s very own Skinny Mammoth boys and we’re thrilled she’s agreed to come and treat us to a live performance of her beautiful songs. Her voice reminds us of Sia Furler from Zero 7.

In Motion – Fronted by the energetic Charlotte Gilpin, this indie-pop four-piece writes catchy songs with heart-melting melodies and performs them with captivating sincerity. Adele's guitarist, Tim Van Der Kuil, says, "I was blown away by their energy and songs. Looking forward to great things!"

Doors and bar open from 7pm and performances begin from 8pm. It’s FREE to get in – not bad for a Monday in November!
