Five West Wight Artists are moving East this week to take part in the celebration that is Open Studios. Every year Artists open their studios or move to somewhere accessable and invite everyone to see their work.
At Quarr Abbey you will find a relaxed and informal atmosphere and artists happy to talk about their work.
Gillian Chapmanās felt designs are an inspiration to anyone with an interest in textiles. Gill is always coming up with new and innovative styles and techniques and this exhibition is the perfect showcase for her felt workshops,and Gill will be giving demonstrations.
Tim England has handmade porcelain pots and cute animals on show.
Robin Hawker is a photographer with a special interest in land/seascapes, flora & fauna and natures details.
Lis Toft will have her stylish porcelain jewellery and wheel thrown pots porcelain with turquoise and bronze glazes. New for Open Studios - Sea Spray with glistening lustres.
Pauline Evans makes unusual kiln formed glass, with lots of organic shapes.
The gallery will be open from 10am - 5pm daily from Thursday 24th until Tuesday 29th.
