The Island Climate Coalition is planning a lantern parade on Thursday 13 December 5:30pm through Newport.

The Parade will be a Call to Compassion for the Planet. Assembly point is St James Square and all will be welcome, regardless of any affiliations. Please bring a candle or warm colour torch!

"We are in a Planetary Crisis and people across the Globe are taking action to highlight the urgency of the situation we find ourselves in. The Lantern Parade is an Island wide initiative to shed some Light on the issue and to spur the General Public - as well as our Political Representatives - into further action."
