Please join us for a fascinating afternoon in the company of film, TV and theatre star Jennie Linden. Jennie will chat about her career in an illustrated conversation with Vectis Radio presenter James Vaux.

Jennie’s acting career spanned four decades. She is best known on film for her BAFTA-nominated role in Ken Russell’s Women in Love with Glenda Jackson, Alan Bates and Oliver Reed. She starred in many other movies including Nightmare, Dr Who and The Daleks and Hedda. She appeared regularly in television series such as The Persuaders, The Saint, The Avengers, Lillie, Lovejoy and Casualty, alongside stars including Roger Moore, Tony Curtis and Patrick Macnee.

Jennie also topped the bill on the West End stage with actors such as Geraldine McEwan and Kenneth Williams and toured the world with the RSC in Trevor Nunn’s stage production of Hedda. Jennie will reveal the highlights of her career – and talk about the many famous actors and directors with whom she has worked.

The talk will be in the Stern Room of The Spinnaker, Bembridge on Sunday 22nd January 2017. Doors will open at 2.30pm. The talk will start at 3.00pm. Refreshments will be available afterwards at approximately 4.30pm for an additional charge. Alternatively you might like to book with The Spinnaker separately for Sunday lunch beforehand!
