Vespers | Service - Celebrating 'St. Nicholas / Νικόλαος' - Bishop of Myra (270-343AD)
From the Boy Bishop of Myra in Asia Minor Roman Empire (now modern day Turkey) to the current well known (Saint) Santa Claus. The patron Saint of Children, Gifts and Sailors who is known throughout the world for his Bishops Staff, Red Robes and his kindness of giving gifts down the chimneys of those less fortunate.
His many Miracles have made him 'Nicholas the Wonderworker' - officially celebrated on his Feast Day, 6th December, St. Alban's Church in Upper Ventnor will celebrate his life this Sunday, 11th December at 3:30 pm.
Retiring Donations after the Service with Hot Tea, Coffee, Mulled Wine and Mince Pies.
