Join the Ingreedies at Quay Arts for a fun-packed family day celebrating food from around the Isle of Wight, with a childrens’ activity workshop, a series of talks from local producers and a competition!

The workshops will be run by Ingreedies illustrator Chris Dickason, who will work with children to create a food map of the Isle of Wight. The finished map will remain on display at Quay Arts after the event.

A ‘meet the producers’ show and tell will be a chance for families to hear all about the island’s food producers including The Garlic Farm, Living Larder, Made by Krista, The Green Barn and Minghella Ice Cream (full timetable of speakers to follow). There will also be an opportunity to taste produce and ask questions.

The Ingreedies team – authors Joe Sharpe (island born and bred) and Zoë Bather along with illustrator Chris Dickson – will be your hosts for the day and on hand to meet families and sign copies of their new book ‘Around The World With The Ingreedies – A Taste Adventure’.

The day will start with a food-themed family film and we’ll also be serving a special cafe menu featuring recipes from the book.
