Age UK IOW and The Studio School in East Cowes are looking to establish an 'Engineering Shed' as part of an after school activity, where retired engineers can share skills, inspiring the next generation.

This shed will be part of the Isle of Wight 'Men in Sheds' Project, funded by the Big Lottery.

The idea behind Men in Sheds is to improve the health and well being of mainly retired men, through social activity, sharing skills, learning new skills and community engagement.

We are inviting local engineers to come along to an open event on Friday 5th February, between 10am and 11am to find out more about the project.
