Potter xmas

Chessell Pottery will be open every weekend until 23rd December, giving you plenty of opportunity to paint your own personal gifts and tree decorations in time for Christmas. Come & have some creative fun!

The studio will be full of Christmas designs to inspire you. How about a Christmas pudding plate for a dessert loving relative? A cream jug adorned with holly for Nana? Or maybe baby’s first footprints on a pint sized mug for Daddy? You can’t beat a personalised, hand made gift and you’ll be amazed how professional your items look after they’ve been fired. Studio fee £5.50 per person (covers all materials, demonstration, glazing and firing), then you pay for whatever item(s) you decorate (prices from £6.95).

Special Offer – Decorate your very own Christmas tree decoration for £8.50 inclusive of studio fee. Choose from stockings, trees and stars - beautiful keepsakes to display on the tree year upon year. Last day to paint Christmas pottery is Sunday 16th December.

NEW FOR 2012 - The Christmas Gift Barn is full to the brim with wonderful Christmas goods including tree and room decorations, table pieces and candles. It’s also an Aladdin’s cave of fair trade, traditional and wooden toys, puppets, trunkis and some interesting stocking fillers; whether the recipient is a baby or an older child, you are sure to find more unusual gifts than at the high street shops. For the adults in your life browse our beautiful range of Emma Bridgewater pottery including Emma’s new ‘Snowstorm’ range as well as other pottery ranges. We also have a fantastic array of local arts, crafts and preserves.

Courtyard Café open throughout the Christmas events serving delicious home made seasonal soups, and sweet treats, including Christmas cinnamon spiced scones, home made Christmas cake, mulled wine and freshly ground espresso coffee. Get into the Christmas spirit - rest by the log fire, sample the homemade fayre and enjoy a glass of mulled wine.
